Tipton County Pork Festival!

Maria was amazing and came over to Tipton to take care of Reese so that I could be in the kick-off parade with the TCPL Cartwheelers. We danced to Psy's Gangnam Style, which we rerecorded to be Reading Tipton Style. Please see lyrics below.
Maria had the kid's faces painted, which they were very excited about.
Maria and Dom had to head back home but Reese and I stuck around the festival to look around, eat, and watch the beginning of the Pork Queen pageant. There is something about this not being my hometown festival that I love about it. I didn't have the ugh, that I feel when Western Days comes around. There is something about having a place with people that are mine because I chose it instead of just because that is where I grew up. It was a fun town festival that I will look forward to next year!
