Softball

Reese had her first softball game tonight. She struck out once. And she HIT the ball once! And made it all the way to 3rd base before she was tagged out! She also fielded 3 balls!

She is in the 8 and under league so she is so tiny compared to most of the girls but she doesn't mind. She try's hard and she likes it. I couldn't be prouder.

Aunt Amy

Anything I can do, Amy can do better.

Splinters and bee stings are always handled better by Aunt Amy.

October 2015 Disneyland

I'm not sure why I would blog about this wonderful trip when Matt does amazing Trip Reports with way more detail than I could remember.  This one took longer to complete than normal but it was fun to relive this trip after the new year when we didn't have holidays and such to occupy us.

So here it is:

Catching Up

I am catching up slowly but surely.
Up next is Disneyland!

Pumpkin Patch

We have started a new tradition of the pumpkin patch with the Schultz family every October.
We enjoyed visiting the animals.

Climbing the hay mountain.

Getting lost in the muddy corn maze.

Then we picked out our pumpkins.

Reese picked a perfect pumpkin.

Played at the playground and playhouse.

Rode on a hayride around the farm.

And enjoyed each other's company.

Covered Bridge Festival

Reese and I drove over to Shades State Park to camp with my Mom, Marc and Valerie.
It is a primitive campground which was interesting to have limited electricity in the trailer.
I shared a bed with Reese because it was so chilly at night.

We visited the Covered Bridge Festival on Saturday.
The homemade ice cream was great but not much else.  A lot of junk, sadly.
As always, being outside was great.
