Hair

There was an incident at school today with scissors and Reese's hair. 

We have been talking about cutting her hair all weekend so after her shower tonight I cut off four inches. She wanted it to her chin and I was scared to cut it at all so we settled on four inches off. 

Napping

I find that I can usually get Reese to nap if I lay down. Maybe it's because it gets boring being the only one awake. But today I layed down to read at the end of my bed navies the sun comes in the window there and Reese curled up next to me. Then she said she wanted to be in her own bed and left me. When I woke up about a half hour later. I couldn't find her... Not on the couch or the loveseat, not on her bed or mine. I started to panic then I looked down the hall and saw her curled up on what used to be her time out bench. It looks like she wanted to be in the sun too!

Because that's how it works...

We spent last weekend spring cleaning and getting things where they should be at home. I was starting to feel comfortable in this apartment. 

So, of course, I heard about a rental on Monday, saw it and put down a deposit on Tuesday, signed the year lease on Wednesday and started packing today. Amazing how things can change in a week. 

This is going to be a good change but the idea of change and moving are making me feel overwhelmed. Deep breaths...
