Oh, quiet Arizona Sundays...I think I will miss you most of all.
Not that today has been quiet, I have written half of a research paper (hopefully I will get motivated and write the other half soon), rented a storage unit and bought traveling gear for Gracie (thank you for the support, Sandra), donated books and magazines to the Friends of the Library, packed books in the living room, and taken a little nap.
Where has the time gone? I will be driving to IN in less than a week and then be missing AZ for 12 weeks. I know the time will fly by between Reese and my two grad school courses.
Wahoo!! 97% on the essay portion of my final exam!!! That wasn't posted when I looked last time.
We had an evening at casa de Wazny last night. Those are my favorite type of evenings. Layla made a surprise appearance. It was very sweet. We were supposed to be watching some movies called The Librarian but who are we kidding. We played with the kids and chatted. Amy made breakfast for dinner - one of my favorites! And Sandra made nanaimo bars - a Canadian delicacy and I am hooked! I will miss those evenings a lot.
I started this blog 8 months ago so that my friends and family in the midwest would have a way to be updated on the happenings in my life. Little did I know that the tables would be turned so soon. I'm afraid that I wont have time to update this before I make the big trip. I don't know what the future will bring for me but I do know that Arizona and all the friends I've made here will always have a special place in my heart.
