Camping: IN Dunes

Reese and I drove up for an awesome weekend of camping with my mom and Marc.

It was a glamping weekend there which provided for some fun programs.

Reese did her workbook so that she could become a junior ranger!

We went into Chesterton to go to the European Market which of course included a trip onto the library and the used book store.

This kid loves ribs!

Reese completed the 3 Dune Challenge with my mom and Marc.  Here she is falling down one of those dunes...

It was a beautiful weekend to be outside!

SRC

We kicked off Summer Reading Club at the beginning of June. It was crazy but also fun to see the kids of Tipton so excited.  Michelle painted these shoes for me.  She is SO talented!

With the move to Tipton, Reese is able to come to our library programs.  Here she is at kick-off at the slime table.  She loved these and the bouncy house.

New House

At the beginning of June, I received the keys to our new house in Tipton!

Love having a yard again!

Ugh, we started moving things pretty much every day.

And we had to buy a pool.

Thanks to friends and my mom, everything is moved into the new house.
Thanks to Annie and Kathy who helped us shop the next weekend.
Finally, thanks to Reese for being so awesome about change.

Preschool Graduation

Reese had her preschool graduation in May. Man, was it cute!

She decided to take a bite out of her diploma on the bus back to school.

So proud of my girl!

She wanted to have her celebration dinner at McDonalds.

With her beautiful new dress and graduation flowers.
When did she get so big?

Mother's Day

The best thing that every happened for me was becoming Reese's mother.

We spent mother's day low key with my dad and Sophia.
In the middle of the moving chaos, it was nice to take a weekend off to just relax.

May Catch-Up

May was full of parks and as much outside as we could.
Here we are at Dillon Park.
Reese wanted to show me around after she came here on a field trip.

Of course, we spent some time at Conner Prairie.

We saw brand-new baby goats, lambs, and chicks.

We walked out to the edge of the prairie.

We visited the dentist and look at this adorable play area.  They were great and she loved it.
They said to watch for loose teeth in the next 6 to 9 months.  Ugh.

I had a cold so I went home from work early one Monday.
This is what happened while I napped on the couch.

At work, we are prepping for Summer Reading Club which is Fizz, Boom, Read so I had to be a mad scientist for the school skits.  They were fun and the kids were SO excited!
